What has been done so far? Well, I have registered for the run. To qualify for participation I will be soliciting donations. The donations go to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. You can show your support and make a donation in my name in several ways. [see below link] I will continue to update this page as my plans progress throughout the following months. There are many things to consider and prepare for. Although I think I have most of the gear that I will need, I do need more road practice - especially in rain!

Pony Express Relay for Breast Cancer  Rider Map for Western, Central and Eastern Trails

Well, the plans are being made - come next August I should be
embarking on what I hope will be a once in a lifetime event for me. I plan on
riding the entire Eastern Trail of the Pony Express Relay for Breast Cancer.
The ride will originate in Orlando on August 14th and will end in New York
City on August 24th. Ten days of riding through thirteen states. A chance to
meet women riders from all across the country. A chance to show my
support in the fight against breast cancer, the number one killer of women
between 40 and 59.
